One of the leaders of the recently held Fix The Country protest, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has disclosed why he wore a torn trouser at the well-attention demonstration of the youth.
He has expressed that he’s broke and suffering like the market women at Agbogbloshie hence he’s unable to buy a new one.
He lashed out at UTV for focusing on his pair of torn trousers as they refused to talk about the demonstration but what he wore to the demonstration.
In a video that has surfaced on the internet, the popular broadcast Journalist emphasized that he wore the torn pair of trousers to hint at the kind of hardship Ghana citizens are going through under the current Akufo-Addo administration.
He added that the country has been facing bas leadership for years and they continue to deceive the people of Ghana but this time they’re calling for selfless and real leadership and not useless radio commentary.
He however blasted the government for painting a propaganda picture that there’s development in the country though it’s the opposite and has called on the media to focus on the interest of Ghanaians as they’re calling for improvement.
