The opposition National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) March for Justice demonstration was nearly marred when the charged demonstrators got to the main entrance of Parliament.
Police officers initially prevented the protesters from gaining access to the premises of Parliament to present their petition.
There was near exchange of blows until an officer opened the small gate for some of the protesters to enter the premises. Minutes later the gate was closed again.
