Purchasing Supervisor Needed at Sunda International

The Purchasing Supervisor will oversee the procurement and distribution of the organizations equipment, supplies, and services.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• To begin with, Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
• Then, Directs the daily workflow and schedules of the department, coordinating staff involved in purchasing, selling, and distributing supplies, machinery, materials, or equipment.
• Also, Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Besides the above, Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Firstly, Drafts and/or reviews supply and service specifications.
• Secondly, Evaluates bids, ensuring compliance with departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Thirdly, Distributes purchasing information to involved parties including vendors, sales representatives, and employees.
• Moreover, Reviews and evaluates purchase request forms for accuracy and completeness.
• Additionally, Gathers, records, and completes purchase data.
• Finally, Completes other related projects as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain policies and procedures used in purchasing.
• Lastly, Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in related field required.
• At least five years of experience in related field required.
